We offer a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom ocean-side home with additional queen pull-out sofa in living room and large, wrap-around deck on Pender Island, in the beautiful Gulf Islands of British Columbia. Enjoy easy Ferry access to Vancouver (90 minutes) and Victoria (40 minutes) as well as the other Gulf Islands and the U.S. San Juan Islands. Day trips to the cities and islands noted are very do-able with morning, afternoon and evening ferry service. One may walk on and use public transport upon arrival (for cities) or bring one’s own vehicle on the ferry. Our home is fully modern with all conveniences, including 6 appliances (with washer/dryer in separate laundry area), phone, cable TV, DVD, stereo, wired/wireless internet connection (if you'd like to bring your laptop), printer, deck furniture and barbeque and is well cared for. Pender Island has breath-taking west coast scenery amidst a lovely, rural setting and an easy lifestyle with all the comforts of vacation living. Pubs, cozy oceanside restaurants, fine dining, golf, tennis, swimming, kayaking, whale watching, fishing, exploring beaches, winery tours, motor cruising, and sailing are all available, along with a quaint town center to meet your shopping pleasures. Also, our 12 ft.(4 meter) boat with oars, life preservers (and fishing equipment if you'd like) is included for your use. Waters are well protected for exploring coastline and bays and fishing is available as near as the mouth of our bay.

Picturesque Shingle Bay is on our doorstep with immediate beach access, a seaside park and beautiful, unimpeded ocean views (see picture taken from our front lawn). The Gulf Islands National Park entrance is also nearby (100 meters) with hiking trails, scenic Gulf Island viewpoints and environmentally protected Roe Lake.

A vehicle exchange is possible. We are open to any European destination with special interest in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece. Looking to New Zealand/Australia also and to other destinations. Entice us!!
This is our second home so the exchange would not have to be concurrent and could be available to you at any time you desired.

Terry is a retired elementary school principal and my wife, Fran, is a retired high school counselor.

We would consider and respond to all offers, even for other destinations or other months/years. A visit to Pender Island, and surrounding Gulf islands, cities and environs of B.C.'s beautiful west coast is a trip of a lifetime.
